There’s a point in ascension when you must rise above your ego.

Your karma is called into balance, and you eventually meet a karmic partner you must rise above and beyond also serving as a trigger to their awakening. They usually don’t wake up. When they do, unfortunately, it’s usually after you’ve already moved on. You two are now even more strongly, karmically connected. Now one has concurred the other by concurring themselves. Only inner work can best this external manifestation. You must ascend to break the cycle. The lesson you’re meant to learn here is discernment. Stand firm in your inner knowing that this is not your person. That’s exactly and entirely all that you have to do. Once done, the karmic’s bond to you has broken; your higher self has spoken, and thusly God has spoken through you. You subsequently ascend to a higher frequency where the karmic is literally unable to meet you. They have no further access to you. It is at this point that you will feel the energetic bond evaporate. You are now free to attract a new energetic mate, a match to your higher frequency, one with whom you may share an unbreakable bond. This is where power couples are formed.
